mFilm Matte is a cinematic film effects toolkit from MotionVFX for Final Cut Pro, designed to transform clean digital footage into nostalgic compositions inspired by vintage filmmaking. The collection combines film frames, mattes, overlays, transitions, typography, and movement presets to recreate the visual imperfections and atmospheric character associated with analog film.

Its flexible presets can be combined throughout an edit to create a coherent retro aesthetic. Editors can customize matte shapes, frame appearance, colors, animation, and other visual parameters, making the collection suitable for music videos, travel films, documentaries, commercials, fashion edits, and cinematic storytelling.
