Sony2Alexa is a camera-matching transform system developed by colorist Juan Melara to bring Sony A7S III, A7 IV, FX3, and FX6 footage closer to the color response of an ARRI Alexa. Rather than functioning simply as a creative look, Sony2Alexa transforms S-Log3 / S-Gamut3.cine footage into ARRI LogC / Alexa Wide Gamut, allowing Sony footage to enter grading, PowerGrade, LUT, and film-emulation workflows originally designed around Alexa footage.
