VoxFerry is an AI voice plugin for Adobe Premiere Pro by GRAFX SRL that brings ElevenLabs text-to-speech and voice changing directly into the editing timeline. It lets editors generate narration from text, transform existing dialogue into another voice, and return the resulting audio to the sequence without manually exporting, processing, and re-importing files.

VoxFerry also includes an optional AI Script Director powered by OpenAI. It can transform plain text into a more expressive Eleven v3-ready script by adding guidance for delivery, tone, pacing, pauses, and other performance cues before the text is sent to ElevenLabs.

TEXT-TO-SPEECH

Type or paste a script, choose an ElevenLabs voice and model, and generate the narration directly from the panel.

Supported models include:

• Eleven v3
• Multilingual v2
• Flash v2.5
• Turbo v2.5

The generated MP3 is imported into a dedicated Premiere Pro bin and can optionally be placed directly at the playhead.

VOICE CHANGER

Select an existing timeline clip and convert its speech into another voice.

The generated take is:

• Placed on an available audio track
• Aligned with the original clip
• Added without deleting the source
• Accompanied by reversible muting of the original clip

AI SCRIPT DIRECTOR

The optional AI Script Director uses OpenAI to prepare text for more expressive Eleven v3 performances.

It can enhance plain text with guidance for:

• Delivery
• Tone
• Pacing
• Pauses
• ElevenLabs v3 performance tags

The processed script is shown in the panel before generation, allowing you to review or manually edit it.

The director prompt is fully editable. You can also select the OpenAI model and enable reasoning for more demanding passages.

This feature is optional and only runs when you choose to use it.

VOICE LIBRARY

VoxFerry integrates voice discovery into the Premiere workflow.

BATCH PROCESSING

Queue several selected clips and let VoxFerry process them sequentially.

A live status log provides feedback as each queued item is processed.

TIMELINE-NATIVE WORKFLOW

Generated audio is imported into a dedicated bin and positioned precisely in the Premiere timeline.

Text-to-Speech results can be dropped directly at the playhead, while Voice Changer results are aligned with their source clips on available audio tracks.

The original audio is muted rather than deleted, preserving a reversible editing workflow.

REQUIREMENTS

VoxFerry does not include ElevenLabs usage.

You need:

• Your own ElevenLabs account
• Your own ElevenLabs API key
• ElevenLabs usage billed separately according to your ElevenLabs plan

The optional AI Script Director requires:

• Your own OpenAI API key
• Only required when using AI Script Director

VoxFerry communicates directly with ElevenLabs and OpenAI without an additional third-party server in between.

API keys are stored locally on your computer.
