ABOUT THIS RESOURCE
Description
Color Shift is a professional look development DCTL package from MonoNodes for DaVinci Resolve Studio, designed to manipulate the six primary color vectors — Red, Green, Blue, Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow — through Hue, Saturation, and Density adjustments.
Inspired by FilmLight Baselight's Hue Shift tool as well as color workflows found in Capture One and Photoshop, Color Shift provides a broad and organic approach to color manipulation. Instead of relying on narrow selections, the tools are designed for cohesive look development, allowing colors to interact naturally while creating stylized cinematic palettes.
Version 4 introduces two different color models: Spherical and Tetrahedral. Each uses a different mathematical approach and produces subtly different responses, giving colorists multiple options depending on the desired look.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
12 Encrypted DCTLs:
Spherical

• MONO-T3-SAT-DEN-HUE-v4.0.dctle
FEATURES
• Independent control of Red, Green, Blue, Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow
• Hue shifting toward neighboring colors
• Subtractive-style Saturation adjustments
• Density controls for deeper, richer film-style colors
• Spherical and Tetrahedral color models
• Hue Range controls for refining the affected color range
• Deep Slider for controlling the tonal range affected by Saturation and Density
• Highlight Mode for visualizing areas excluded by the Deep adjustment
• Single, Double, and Triple control configurations
• Natural interaction between Red and Yellow for skin-tone ranges
• Designed for broad look development rather than narrow color isolation
• Supports serial node workflows using Density → Saturation → Hue
